视频会议在4月7日上午九点准时开始。
　　
　　307办公室临时布置成了简易的会议室：桌子推到墙边，三台笔记本电脑并排对着摄像头，中间那台是主画面。李君宪坐在正中，左边林薇，右边叶晚。苏语在镜头外操作录音设备和翻译支持，陈末在地下室监控网络和数据传输。墙上的“春草”短刀被调整了角度，不会反光干扰画面，但能在背景里隐约看见。
　　
　　纽约那边是晚上九点。屏幕分割成四个小窗：主窗口是MoMA策展人MichaelChen，五十多岁，灰发，戴黑框眼镜，背后是书架和现代艺术海报。旁边是助理策展人Sarah，年轻些，棕发扎成马尾。另外两个窗口是翻译顾问Lisa（苏语的朋友），和一位没开摄像头的技术顾问。
　　
　　“Canyouhearusclearly?”Michael开口，声音平稳，带着美式口音。
　　
　　“Yes,wecanhearyou.”林薇回答，她面前摊着准备了一夜的英文稿，但没看，眼睛盯着摄像头，“Thankyoufortakingthetime.”
　　
　　“Ourpleasure.”Michael微笑，“We’vereviewedthematerialsyousent.Theconceptof‘Twenty-FourPoeticRealms’isfascinating.Andthegamesyou’vecreated…they’requiet.Unusualforthemedium.”
　　
　　他开始切入正题。先讨论了“悲慨”——问了创作动机、美学来源、技术实现。问题很专业，但不刁钻。李君宪回答核心设计理念，林薇展示美术细节，叶晚讲到士兵王小石的隐藏剧情时，Michael打断了她。
　　
　　“Thissoldier,WangXiaoshi…yousaidiftheplayercomfortshimthreetimes,heovercomesfearinthenightraid.Howmanyplayerswoulddiscoverthis?”
　　
　　叶晚愣了一下，看林薇。林薇翻译了问题，叶晚轻声用中文回答：“可能很少。但我们做了，因为……因为他存在。那个士兵，在游戏的世界里，存在过。”
　　
　　翻译后，Michael沉默了几秒，然后点头：“Isee.It’snotfortheplayer.It’sforthecharacteritself.”
　　
　　“Yes.”叶晚说，“就像我妈妈绣花。她不为了谁看，绣了，就存在了。”
　　
　　话题转到绣样。Sarah调出了“雨后春草”的高清图，在共享屏幕上放大。针脚的细节清晰可见，三种绿色的渐变，水珠的光影。
　　
　　“Thisisexquisite.”Sarah说，“Thecraft**anship…andthestorybehindit.Yourmotherwasillwhenshemadethis?”
　　
　　叶晚点头，用简单英文回答：“Yes.Shehadlungdisease.Breathehard,but…shekeptsewing.Said,whensewing,notthinkingofillness.”
　　
　　“Howlongdidittake?”Michael问。
　　
　　“Threedays.Butshesewedonlyafewhourseachday.Restinbetween.”叶晚顿了顿，“Thewaterdroplets…sheusedthreeshadesofgreen.Tocatchlight.”
　　
　　Michael示意Sarah做记录。然后他看向镜头后的团队：“Yourprojectisunusual.It’snotjustgames,notjustart.It’s…adocumentation.Documentingdisappearingthings:traditionalaesthetics,handcraft,quietness.Inaworldthat’sgettinglouderandfaster.”
　　
　　“That’swhatwewanttodo.”李君宪接话，用他有限的英文，“Tokeepsomething.Incode,inpixel,insound.”
　　
　　“Thechallenge,”Michael身体前倾，“ishowtopresentthisinamuseumcontext.Gamesareforplaying,notforlooking.Howdoyoumakeaplayableexperienceworkinanexhibition?Peoplecome,theyhavelimitedtime,theymaynotwanttositandplayforhours.”
　　
　　这正是他们担心的。林薇展示了她设计的“切片方案”：精选场景，循环播放，配字幕解释。但Michael摇头。
　　
　　“Thatturnsitintoamovie.Theinteractiveessenceislost.”他想了想，“Whatif…wecreatea‘meditativespace’?A**allroom,withscreensonwalls.Thegamerunsinrealtime,butsloweddown.Adayinthegameequalsanhourinrealtime.Visitorscancomein,sit,watchtheworldunfold.Theycaninteract,butminimally:changeweather,changetimeofday.Notto‘play’,butto‘observe’.”
　　
　　这个想法让李君宪心里一动。慢速的、观察式的体验，正好符合“冲淡”和“悲慨”的气质。但技术上……
　　
　　“技术上可行。”陈末在耳机里说，“我们可以做展览专用版本，锁定视角，简化交互，优化性能。但需要调整代码，时间很紧。”
　　
　　“Wecantry.”李君宪对Michael说。
　　
　　“Good.”Michael看了眼时间，“Now,abouttheembroidery.We’dliketodisplaytheoriginal,withproperlightingandconservation.Andwe’dliketoincludeashortvideoaboutyourmother’sstory.Wouldthatbeacceptable?”
　　
　　叶晚看向李君宪。李君宪点头。叶晚说：“Yes.It’sokay.”
　　
　　“Excellent.”Michael最后说，“Ourexhibition‘PoetryintheDigitalAge’opensinSeptember.We’dliketoincludeyourwork.Butweneedtoseeacomplete,polishedversionofatleastonerealmbyJuneforfinalselection.Andwe’dneedtheembroideryandallsupportingmaterialsbyAugust.”
　　
　　六月。现在四月。还有两个月。要完成“飘逸”的完整可展示版本，还要准备所有参展资料。
　　
　　“Wecandoit.”林薇说，声音很稳。
　　
　　“Onemorething.”Michael顿了顿，“Funding.MoMAcanprovideamodestexhibitionfee,andcovershippingandinsurancefortheartworks.Buttravel,accommodation,additionalproductioncosts…thatwouldbeyourresponsibility.Areyouabletocoverthat?”
